Frank R. Maritato, Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the golden age of 90. Beloved Husband of the late Barbara J., nee Callese, Maritato. Devoted Father of Susan (John) Lesniak, Sharon “Aggie” (Jon) DeLong, the late Frank Maritato, Jr., Fiori (Lisa) Maritato, Tony (Kathy) Maritato and Gina (Chris) Circelli. Loving Son of the James & the late Catherine Maritato. Fond Grandfather of Jennifer (Dan) Bojovic, Danny (Antonia) Grieco, the late Chas Lawson, Nicole (Eric) Montanez, Jamie Lesniak, Stephanie (Jimmie) Williams, Tony (Danielle) Maritato, Jr., Joseph (Yadie) Lesniak, Gianna Circelli and Nico Circelli. Fond Great-Grandfather of Victor, Brianna, Marie, Isabella, Dominic, Guliana, Maeve, Royal, Emilia, Vinnie, Ari, Tru, Kenna, Anthony, Milanni, Jayla, Joseph, Lorenzo and Giovanni. Dear Brother of Anthony “Russian” (Diane) Maritato, Pat (Linda) Maritato, the late Charles (the late Barbara) Maritato, the late Vince (the late Vicki) Maritato and the late Agnes (the late Kenny) Vincenzo. Frank was a proud member of the Italian-American / Hunters Club of Cicero. Frank was an avid car enthusiast and used car dealership owner for many years.

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Chapel Service of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt.
