Francesco Novelli

Francesco Novelli passed away peacefully Friday, November 12, 2021, in the tranquility of his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved Husband of Ida E., nee Cosenza, Novelli.  Devoted Father of Frank (Nadine) Novelli, and the late Gina (Mike) Petrecca.  Loving Son of the late Arturo and Beatrice.  Fond Grandfather of Cori Novelli, Adam Novelli, Mikey Petrecca, A.J. Petrecca, and the late Brett Novelli.  Loving Brother-in-law of Mario Cosenza, Cesira Cosenza and Anna Maria Brotto.  Dear Uncle and Great-Uncle of many nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins in the United States and Canada.  Francesco enjoyed entertaining family and friends with his accordion playing.  Francesco proudly served as security guard for Pope Pius XII in Vatican City.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).  Chapel Service of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 11:00 A.M.
