Florentina “Flor” Medina passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4,2023 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 70. Beloved Wife of Miguel Perez for a loving 22 years. Devoted Mother of Martha (Ambrosio, Flores) Median, Freddy (Maria) Alcala, Ivette (Saul) Gomez, Mike Perez, Ale (Eduardo Vargas) Perez. Loving Daughter of Emma nee Padilla and the late Valeriano Medina. Fond Grandmother of Vanessa, Nick, Lissette, Juan, Jonathan, Crystal, Monse, Arely, Abel, Emmy, Azalea and Alanni. Fond Great-Grandmother of Brianna, Gizelle, Aria, Oscar, Jr., Ariel, Nick, Jr., Adam and Valerie. Dear Sister of Mauro, Lupe, Ana, Abdon, Mela, Candido, Lerida, Valeriano, Daniel, Ema, the late Victor and the late Jesus. Dear Aunt, Great Aunt and Great-Great Aunt to many.
Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Friday, September 8, 2023, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:15 a.m. proceeding to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1510 South 49th Court, Cicero, Illinois.
