Eva Padula, nee Cecchin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her own home at the golden age of 99. Devoted Wife of the late Frank for a loving 38 years. Devoted Mother of Christina (Daniel) Ortegon and Deborah Engel. Loving Daughter of the late Giovanni & the late Giusepa, nee Bartoldo, Cecchin. Fond Grandmother of Nicole Desiree (Andrew Roback) Ortegon, Vince Forliano and the late Tom Forliano. Fond Great-Grandmother of Vince Forliano, Frank Forliano, Isabella Forliano and Lorenzo Forliano. Dear Sister of John (Carol) Cecchin, the late Mary (the late Howard) Barker, the late Mario “Lindy” (the late Audrey) Cecchin and the late Nino Biassi. Dear Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great Aunt to many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday morning, June 26, 2025 at Visitation Parish, 779 S. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois, for a brief visitation from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery / Christ the King Garden Mausoleum.
