Eugene Reedy

Eugene Reedy passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the age of 76.  Devoted Father of Eugene Reedy, Jr, Shanteau (Adam) Nelson, Charmaine (Blair) Walker, Catrina Brooks, Windell Reedy, Ronell Reedy, Negolian (Monica) Reedy and Shanine Reedy.  Special Loving Friend of LaRonda Washington.  Loving Son of the late Negolian & Hattie Reedy.  Fond Grandfather of Brianna, Marcus, Christopher, Ashlei, Journei, Sydnei, Timothy, Alexa, Nathan, Maria, Bianjhane, Keontay “Rara”, Kaliyah, Amari, LaTonya, Tacherra, Kendall, Menah, Meleah, Jayden, Marc, Michael, Mariyah, Madalynn, Iziah, Mikyla, Nala, Amira, Heaven and Rian.  Eugene leaves a host of Great-Grandchildren. Dear Brother of Allen (the late June) Reedy, Pauline (the late James) Ward, Nell (Clifford) Grant, Annie (Norman) Burton, Danny (Dawn) Reedy, the late Fannie (Billy) Baker, the late Julius (Jerry) Reedy, the late Mose (the late Lula) Reedy and the late Horace.  Loving Nephew of Horace (Dorothy) Flournoy. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow on Monday, April 11, 2022 – ALL Family and FRIENDS are to gather directly at First Baptist Church, 2114 Main Street, Melrose Park, Illinois 60160. Visitation at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Funeral Service to be celebrated promptly at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Oakridge Cemetery. For additional information please call (708) 449-5300.
