Ellen Murray passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her home on Tuesday, December 22,2020 at the age of 77. Devoted Mother of Steve Murry, Gregory L. Sr. (Patricia) Murry, Brenda J. Leonard, Marvin G. Murry, Kenneth L. Murry, Kelvin Murry Sr., Tracey N. (Gregory E.) Butler. Loving Daughter of the late Ellen Randle-Murry, nee Vasser and the late Ezekiel Murry. Fond Grandmother of Demeriel, Jasmin, Erica, Gregory Jr, Joshua, Christian, Brittany, Myiesha Murry, Myiesha Davis, Antwan (Nicole) Waters, Latoya, Andrew, Raquel, Kendall, Kenesha, Brianna, Kelvin Jr., the late Kelvin MyShawn and Kahlil. Ellen was blessed with an abundance of Great- Grandchildren; Dear Sister of Levarn C. (Delphine) Murry, Lester Murry, Rosetta (the late Joseph) Matthews, the late Edgar (Rosetta) Randle, the late Willie (the late Jesse) Randle, the late Roosevelt (Dorothy) Randle, the late James (the late Essie) Randle, the late Ezekiel Jr., (the late Loria and the late Ernestine) Murry, the late Duke Ellington (Janet) Murry and the late Earlene (the late Earnest) Walker. Loving Cousin of Virginia Hodges; Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews; Loving longtime friend of Bobbie Henderson, Emma Williams, Thelma Ramsey, Roscoe Billings and Joe Billups. Ellen was an usher at Rock of Ages Baptist Church.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels,4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois (located between Mannheim & Wolf Rd) Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery / Christ the King Garden Mausoleum.
