Elizabeth M. Mungo, nee Moccio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 18, 2025 at the golden age of 98. Beloved Wife of the late Frank A. Mungo, Sr. Devoted Mother of John Mungo, Catherine (the late Francis) Donovan, Raymond “Skip” Mungo, the late Robert Mungo, Mary Ann Mungo and Frank, Jr (Kathleen) Mungo. Loving Daughter of the late Frank & the late Fortunata Moccio. Fond Grandmother of Michelle (Alex) Shoaei, Nicole (Josh) Santel, Terah (Clay Scott) Donovan, Francis (Luisa) Donovan, Patrick Donovan, John Paul (Carla) Mungo, Allison Mungo, Carolyn (John) Ekkert, Lauren (Paul) Mungo-Loban, Elizabeth (Cameron) Valentine, Christen (Giovanni) Cusimano, John Navarro, Francesca Navarro, Ava Mungo and Frank T. Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Monday, July 28, 2025 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 a.m. Proceeding to Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1S314 Summit Avenue, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
