Elena F. Lomasney

Elena F. Lomasney nee Russo, passed away June 12,2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old. Beloved wife of Larry. Loving mother of Teresa (Michael) Metzger and Christina (Derrick) Marsh. Beloved daughter of the late Biagio (late Teresa nee Spitzzeri) Russo. Cherished grandmother of Annabella Carriedo and Sophia Marsh. Dear sister of John (late Jackie) Russo, Biagio (late Donna) Russo, late June Krause and the late Anna Marie (late James) Tarsitano. Fond aunt & great aunt to many.

Elena was a proud LPN from Mother Cabrini Hospital, practiced nursing for years, then became a stay at home mother who enjoyed coaching and caring for her family & pets.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo Hillside Chapels 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 located (between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, June 19, 2026 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels proceeding to St. Paul the 6th Parish Mater Christi Church, 2401 S 10th Avenue, North Riverside, Illinois.
