Edward K. Bitoy

Edward K. Bitoy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the golden age of 88. Beloved Husband for a loving 70 years to the late Cynthia C. Bitoy, nee Lovings. Edward & Cynthia passed away together within hours of each other; their love continuing into eternity. Devoted Father of Eduardo K. Bitoy, Jr., Dario M. Bitoy, Carmen E. (Craig II) Adams and Lorenzo C. Bitoy. Loving Son of the late Lucio M. & the late Mamie Bitoy. Fond Grandfather of 12 and Great-Grandfather of 30. Dear Brother of the late Lucio M. (the late Elizabeth) Bitoy Jr., the late Yusef Ali (Dorel) Bitoy, the late Juanita (the late Davis) Calloway, the late Alvero (the late Juanita) Bitoy, the late Johnny A. (the late Juanita) Bitoy, the late Ralph Bitoy, the late Rudolph (Annette) Bitoy, the late Earl Bitoy, the late Yvonne (the late Calvin) Garland, Roberta Robertson and Catherine Bitoy-Punsalang. Dear Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews.

Edward graduated from Crane High School. He worked and retired from Rockwell Garden Chicago Housing Authority as a Chief/Engineer. He was a proud member of Local 399. All of his life he enjoyed boxing. He attended several boxing tournaments all over the country. He also trained young men to become boxers. 

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 9833 S. Throop Street, Chicago, Illinois.
