Dawn Scanlon passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Devoted Mother of Leanean Merritte & LaShuan Scanlon. Loving Daughter of the late Irvin Scanlan and the late Bertha Scanlan. Fond Grandmother of Taylor, Leila, Tyler & Donovan. Dear Sister of Celeste, Dorothy, Gail, Cassandra, the late William, the late Barbara and the late Delwin (Dawn’s twin brother). Dear Aunt and Friend to many.
Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation from 10:00 A.M. until time of Chapel Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Concordia Cemetery, 7900 Madison Street, Forest Park, Illinois. For additional information please call (708) 449-5300.
