David Simental, Sr., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 68. Beloved Husband for a loving 38 years to Cristina, nee Silva Sierra, Simental. Devoted Father of Brenda (Perfecto) Perez, Ana (Filberto) Reyes and David, Jr (Bianca) Simental. Loving Son of the late Rafael and the late Maria Natividad Simental. Fond Grandfather of Eduardo (Girlfriend, Karina Careno) Perez, Daniel Perez, Brandon Perez, Orlando Perez, Miguel Perez, David Reyes, Alondra Reyes and Milan Simental. Fond Great-Grandfather of Leilanie Perez and Eliana Perez. Loving Brother of Hilaria, Paulin, Francisco, Maria, Eladio, Luis, Dionicio, Manuel, Socoro, Alejandrina, Teresa and the late Elena. Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Proceeding to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 819 N. 16th Street, Melrose Park.
