David Diaz Chaidez passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the golden age of 92. Beloved Husband of the late Gudelia Diaz. Devoted Father of Aida (Frank) Carrera, Oscar Diaz and the late David, Jr. Loving Son of the late Moises Diaz & the late Petra Chaidez. Fond Grandfather of April (Jason) Pernat, Daniel Diaz, Frankie Carrera, Nicole (Martin) Bys, Raquel (Aaron) Lewis and Michelle Diaz. Fond Great-Grandfather of Jacob & Jaxson. Dear Brother of Luz (the late Juan) Navar, the late Melesio (the late Cuca) Diaz, the late Domitila (the late Roberto) Nevarez and the late Gabriel Diaz. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from Russo’s Hillside Chapel. Proceeding to Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
