David C. Alonso, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 5, 2021 at the Golden age of 80. Beloved Husband of Evelyn Alonso nee Pichardo. Devoted Father of David Edgardo Alonso, Mayra Alonso Pressler, Radahirsa Alonso, Daniel Alonso, Doranellys Alonso, Elizer Alonso and Elizabeth Alonso. Loving Son of the late Rafael and Maria. Fond Grandfather of Amanda, Sonia, Kristin, Kayley, Megan, Giovanni, Jesus, Dariel, Galilea, Isabella and Keydan. Dear Brother of the late Pedro Maria Alonso, the late Maria Elisa Matute, the late Rafael Alonso, Esther Alonso, the late Ruth Esperanza Cathedral and Misael Alonso. Dear Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. Loving Best Friend to Julio Garcia and Magdelena Alonso.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation Tuesday, March 9, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).
