Christine D'Amato

Christine D’Amato, nee Bronski, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family at the age of 74. Loving and devoted Mother of Nicola D’Amato, Frank (Laura) D’Amato, and Rosemarie (Jimmy) Karas. Devoted wife for 33 years to Matteo D’Amato. Loving Daughter of the late Frank and Lillian nee Walkowicz Bronski.  Loving Daughter-in-law to the late Nicola and Rosa nee Picerna, D’Amato.  Loving Grandma of Nico, Gianna, Ariana, Gabriella, and Alaina.  Dear Sister of Raymond Bronski and Bob Bronski.  Dear Sister-in-law to Thomas (Cheryl) D’Amato and Victor (Stacy) D’Amato.  Dear Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin, Godmother, and Friend to many.

Christine’s greatest joy was her Children and Grandchildren.  As a mother she was always there to provide unconditional love, care and support.  Her Grandchildren will always remember her loving, kind and playful spirit.  We will cherish all the wonderful memories and keep her in our hearts forever.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  A Special Words of Remembrance celebrated at 6:30 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow Thursday, November 14, 2024 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 8033 W. Addison Street, Chicago, Illinois.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N.
