Billy Ray Burnett

Billy Ray Burnett passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 70.  Beloved Husband for a loving 24 years to Beverly A. nee Brown, Burnett.  Devoted Father of Billy Ray (Monique) Burnett, Jr., Shawnta Robinson, Nikksha (Lewis) Balom, Bianca Crusoe and Shavonne Burnett.  Loving Son of the late Hannah Mae Burnett.  Fond Grandfather of 16 and Great-Grandfather of 2. Best Friend of James Atkins.  Billy was a sergeant with the Illinois Department of Corrections for 25 years.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Chapel Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Garden Mausoleum, Hillside, IL.  For additional information please call (708) 449-5300.
