Betty Lue Simon

Betty Lue Simon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Devoted Mother of James (Barbara) Simon, Wayne (Jozett) Simon, Timothy (Cristal) Simon, Terralyn (Don) Frazier and Valerie (Tony) Johnson and “Special" Son, Harold “Buster” Winters. Loving Daughter of the late Willie Coleman and the late Hattie Mae Carter. Hattie Mae later married Willie Carter, who became her father figure.  Fond Grandmother of Brittiany Simon, James Simon V, Justin Simon, Ashley Simon, Wayne Simon II, Kennedy Simon, William Simon, Julian Frazier, Joshua Frazier, Jackson Frazier, Kherington Frazier, Brooke Johnson and Bailey Johnson. Dear Sister of Katie Sue (Ben) James, Rachel Lee Graham, Jacqueline Carter, Linda Carter, Willie Carter, Robert Carter, Dexter (Thayron) Carter, Michael (Larynda) Carter and John Carter. Dear Aunt of many Nieces & Nephews. Loving Friend of Minnie Webb and Naomi Webber.

Family and Friends are to gather directly at Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral, 4500 Frontage Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 on Friday, March 21, 2025 with a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Oakridge Cemetery.
