Benigno "Benny" Martinez

Benigno “Benny” Martinez, passed away surrounded by his loving family and loved ones on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 65. Beloved Husband of Martina Martinez. Beloved Father of Oscar Martinez and Daisy Martinez. Loving Father-in-law of Maha Martinez. Loving Son of the late Gonzalo and the late Maria Locadia Martinez. Amazing and Loving Grandfather of Benjamin Martinez and Esme Martinez, who will remember him as “Abuelo Benny”. Benny will forever be remembered and missed by all his family and friends for his kindness, strength and optimism. Benigno was a huge dog lover and leaves behind his best friend Lucas. He enjoyed baseball especially the Chicago Cubs. Benigno had a green thumb he really enjoyed gardening.  

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation Friday, June 17, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Saturday, June 18, 2022 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 A.M. Proceeding to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1637 N 37th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160.
