Arthur “Art” Russo passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 31, 2020 following a long illness at the Golden age of 82. Beloved Husband of Delia “LiL” nee Turco, for a loving 57 years. Devoted Father of Christine (Louis) DeConcilis and Michael Russo. Loving Son of the late Pasquale and the late Annunziata Russo. Adored PaPa of Louie and Nico. Dear Brother of Orlando (the late Henrietta), the late Albert (the late Josephine), the late Angelina (Alfredo) Vercillo and the late Frank (Pat) Russo. Dear Brother in Law to many. Dear Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many. Art had many hobbies and interests throughout his life, Born in Rende Calabria, (CS) Italy and immigrated to USA in 1954. His hobbies included playing Bocce Ball, Bowling, playing cards, playing the Accordion, Gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife, children and his grandchildren who were the loves of his life.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Words of Remembrance 7:00 p.m.at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Friday, September 4, 2020 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:30 a.m. proceeding to The Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1101 North 23rd Avenue, Melrose Park, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Garden Mausoleum. For additional information call (708) 449-5300.
