Angela Maria Comella nee Scalisi, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the golden age of 92. Beloved Wife of the late Antonino Comella. Devoted Mother the late Vince (the late Marie) Comella, the late Tony (Cindy) Comella, Angela (Anthony) Crivolio and Maria (Brett) Varchetto. Loving Daughter of the late Antonino & the late Maria nee Scaletta, Scalisi. Fond Grandmother of Vincent (Melanie) Comella, Katie (Mitch) Nelson, Nicholas Comella, Christina (Carmello) Abate, Anthony (Lexi) Crivolio, Natalie Crivolio, Angelina Comella, Alexa Varchetto, Dominic Varchetto and Angelo Varchetto. Fond Great-Grandmother of Maddie, Kenzie, Beckett, Cooper, Valentina, Leonardo, Callan, Charlotte and Luciano. Dear Sister of the late Agostina (the late Rosario), the late Josephina, the late Antonina (the late Pietro), Maria (the late Luigi) and the late Joseph (the late Gail). Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 a.m. Proceeding to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 505 Kingston Drive, Romeoville, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. For additional information, please call (708) 449-5300.
