Andrew “Andy Bear” Montano, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved Husband for a loving 50 years to Cindy, nee D’Ambrosio, Montano. Devoted Father of James Montano and Anthony (the late Carla) Montano. Loving Son of the late Giuseppe & the late Caterina Montano. Fond Grandfather of Angela & Adriana Montano. Dear Brother of the late Vincenzo (Maria) Montano and the late Rafaella (the late Angelo) Russo. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews especially Sherri Belmonte & Jamie (Brad) Vayda. Andy Bear was a proud foreman for the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation for 40 years.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to Mater Christi Catholic Church, 2401 S. 10th Avenue, North Riverside, Illinois.Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrted promplty at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
