Amelia Avitia de Ocon passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her home at the Golden age of 91. Beloved Wife of the late Francisco Ocon. Devoted Mother of Natalia (Rosenberg Pena) Ocon, Herlindo (Odila) Ocon, the late Arturo (Margarita) Ocon, Jesus Manuel (Maria) Ocon, the late Alfredo (Rebeca) Ocon, the late Estelita, Enrique (Olivia) Ocon, the late Francisco (Cecilia) Ocon, Eloisa Ocon, the late Ambrosio (Zoila) Ocon, Francisco Humberto Ocon, Leovigildo (Lorenza) Ocon, Jose Luis (Lucila) Ocon, Magdaleno (Laura Olivia) Ocon, Gregorio (Dawn) Ocon, Rogelio (Elizabeth) Ocon, Hector (Rosa) Ocon. Loving Daughter of the late Magdaleno Avitia and the late Teresa Marin de Avitia. Fond Grandmother of 51; Fond Great-Grandmother of 66 and Fond Great-Great-Grandmother of 4. Dear Sister of the late Jose (the late Socorro) Marin. Amelia was a Loving “Mother” to the Morales Family. Dear Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends are to gather for the visitation on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, July 2, 2021 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to Divine Infant Catholic Church, 1601 Newcastle Avenue, Westchester, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. For additional information call (708) 449-5300.
