Alta W. Reives passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the golden age of 80. Beloved Wife of the late Carl Reives. Devoted Mother of Carla (Kevin) Johnson, Carlton Reives and Susan Reives. Loving Daughter of the late Alfred Patrick and the late Elizabeth “Madear” Drake. Fond Grandmother of Keith “Boo” Parker II, Tacara (Ray) Starks, Kahlia Johnson, the late Carl Rashad Reives and Janae (Daryan) Coleman. Fond Great-Grandmother of Trinity Crump, Eric Stevenson, Ria Starks, Kyla Parker, Brandon Allen, Amaria Coleman and Daryan “DK” Coleman. Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).
